ClamAV Mach-O File Format Processing Memory Corruption Vulnerability

A vulnerability in the Mach-O file format parser of ClamAV could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a DoS condition or possibly other expanded impacts as a result of memory corruption on an affected device. This vulnerability is due to improper boundary checks for content in Mach-O files during scanning, which may result in an out-of-bounds buffer read. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by submitting a crafted Mach-O file to be scanned by ClamAV on an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the ClamAV scanning process to terminate, resulting in a DoS condition on the affected software.

TeamDavid: Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) via 'pathnameroot' parameter in search functionality

Tobit Laboratories AG TeamDavid's Webbox 's search functionality accepts a “pathnameroot” parameter, which can be set to network locations using UNC paths (e.g., “\\Server\Share”). The server processes these paths without validation, resulting in outbound connection attempts to attacker-controlled SMB servers. This enables unauthenticated attackers to trigger the server to authenticate to arbitrary SMB endpoints, potentially exposing NTLM authentication information (such as NTLM hashes). If outbound connections to port 445 (SMB) are permitted, attackers can use this to conduct SMB relay or credential theft attacks. Exploitation of the “pathnameroot” parameter is possible without authentication. This issue affects TeamDavid through Rollout 524.

HAPI FHIR: XHTML narrative parser unbounded recursion causes StackOverflow denial of service

HAPI FHIR is a complete implementation of the HL7 FHIR standard for healthcare interoperability in Java. Prior to 6.9.11, XhtmlParser.java imposes no maximum element nesting depth, so a deeply nested text.div narrative triggers unbounded recursion between parseElementInner() and parseElement(), raising a StackOverflowError. An attacker who can submit FHIR resources containing such narratives can thus crash a parsing or validation worker thread, affecting validator services and any application that parses attacker-supplied FHIR JSON or XML. This issue is fixed in version 6.9.11.

Home Assistant: Unconfirmed NFC/QR tag scans allow silent automation execution by untrusted callers

Home Assistant is open source home automation software focused on local control and privacy. Prior to 2026.5.3, the Companion app treats tag links (NFC or QR) delivered through an OS-level routing mechanism as if they were physically scanned, without validating the calling app or prompting the user. As a result, any untrusted app on the device can forward an arbitrary tag to Home Assistant, causing it to execute the associated automation as though a legitimate user had scanned an authorized tag. This allows silent, unattended automation execution by untrusted local callers. This issue is fixed in version 2026.8.1.
