net: ethernet: arc: emac: quiesce interrupts before requesting IRQ

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: ethernet: arc: emac: quiesce interrupts before requesting IRQ Normal RX/TX interrupts are enabled later, in arc_emac_open(), so probe should not see interrupt delivery in the usual case. However, hardware may still present stale or latched interrupt status left by firmware or the bootloader. If probe later unwinds after devm_request_irq() has installed the handler, such a stale interrupt can still reach arc_emac_intr() during teardown and race with release of the associated net_device. Avoid that window by putting the device into a known quiescent state before requesting the IRQ: disable all EMAC interrupt sources and clear any pending EMAC interrupt status bits. This keeps the change hardware-focused and minimal, while preventing spurious IRQ delivery from leftover state.

Nx: Zip-Slip in the self-hosted remote cache

Nx is a monorepo solution for TypeScript and polyglot codebases. From version 20.8.0 until 22.7.7 and 23.0.2, the Nx self-hosted HTTP remote cache extracts downloaded cache artifacts without constraining where files are written. A malicious or on-path (MITM) remote cache server can return a crafted tar archive whose entries escape the cache directory and write to arbitrary locations on the machine running Nx, which can be escalated to remote code execution. Nx's default local cache and Nx Cloud are not affected; only workspaces configured to use a self-hosted remote cache are affected. This issue is fixed in versions 22.7.7 and 23.0.2.

OpenReception's logout page clears local access_token before server-side revocation, leaving duplicated tokens valid until expiry

OpenReception's appointment booking software provides an end-to-end encrypted appointment booking platform. Prior to version 1.0.2, when a user navigates to the `/logout` page, the page's server-side load handler deletes the `access_token` cookie before calling `/api/auth/logout` via an internal `event.fetch()`. The internal fetch consequently runs without the auth cookie, so `apiAuthHandle` rejects it, the logout handler never executes, and `SessionService.revokeSession()` is never called for the current session. The DB session row remains valid until its natural expiry (one week by default). The user sees a successful logout (cookie gone, UI returns to login), but any party still holding a copy of the now-deleted access token can continue making authenticated API calls until the session naturally expires. The root cause is a simple ordering mistake. The same auth subsystem implements the correct order in `/api/auth/logout`: revoke the current DB session first, then delete the cookie. The page-level wrapper does the opposite. Version 1.0.2 initiates server-side logout before removing authentication cookies and first appears in version 1.0.2. Version 2.0.0 later replaces this with a race-free client-side logout flow.

OpenReception's bootstrap challenge proof-of-work difficulty hardcoded to 16 bits, which enables abuse rate amplification

OpenReception's appointment booking software provides an end-to-end encrypted appointment booking platform. Prior to version 1.0.6, the bootstrap challenge endpoint at `/api/tenants/{id}/appointments/bootstrap-challenge` issues a SHA-256 proof-of-work with `difficulty=4` hex zeros, equivalent to 16 bits of work. Modern hardware solves this in under 200 milliseconds, providing essentially no friction against automated abuse of the patient booking flow. Proof-of-work is used in the booking flow as a rate-limiter for unauthenticated clients establishing tunnels and submitting appointments. At 16 bits of difficulty, the construct is decorative rather than effective. An attacker can solve PoW challenges as fast as the server can issue them, defeating the rate-limiting purpose. The handler also calls `challengeThrottleService.checkThrottle(binding, "passkey")`, but the binding includes attacker-controlled values (`tunnelId`, `clientPublicKey`, and optional `emailHash`). For each fresh attempt, the attacker can supply new values, producing a new throttle key and bypassing the per-binding accumulation. Practical abuse friction is therefore the PoW difficulty itself, not a stable per-IP or per-email server-side throttle. Version 1.0.6 fixes the issue.

Insecure direct object reference in Strands Agents Tools memory tool namespace isolation

Insecure direct object reference in the mongodb_memory, elasticsearch_memory, and mem0_memory tools in Amazon Strands Agents Tools before 0.8.3 might allow remote authenticated users to access, modify, or delete memories belonging to other tenants by influencing the LLM to emit tool calls with a forged namespace parameter. To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to version 0.8.3.

XML External Entity (XXE) Injection via Schema Validation in Multiple WSO2 Products Allows File Reading and Denial of Service

The XML and schema validation functionalities within the SchemaValidator Mediator process XML input as part of validation flows. Under certain conditions, the XML parser allows the resolution of external entities when handling user-supplied XML content during validation operations. This behavior can occur when an attacker supplies crafted XML payloads to the relevant mediator flows with sufficient privileges. Successful exploitation may allow a highly privileged actor to read files accessible within the server hosting the affected product. Additionally, it may be possible to trigger outbound requests to unintended internal or external locations, depending on the server environment and network configuration. Specially crafted XML payloads can also lead to excessive resource consumption during parsing, impacting the availability of the product.
