KVM: x86: hyper-v: Bound the bank index when querying sparse banks

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: x86: hyper-v: Bound the bank index when querying sparse banks When checking if a VP ID is included in a sparse bank set, explicitly check that the ID can actually be contained in a sparse bank (the TLFS allows for a maximum of 64 banks of 64 vCPUs each). When handling a paravirtual TLB flush for L2, the VP ID is copied verbatim from the enlightened VMCS, without any bounds check, i.e. isn't guaranteed to be under the limit of 4096. Failure to check the bounds of the VP ID leads to an out-of-bounds read when testing the sparse bank, and super strictly speaking could lead to KVM performing an unnecessary TLB flush for an L2 vCPU. ================================================================== BUG: KASAN: use-after-free in hv_is_vp_in_sparse_set+0x85/0x100 [kvm] Read of size 8 at addr ffff88811ba5f598 by task hyperv_evmcs/2802 CPU: 12 UID: 1000 PID: 2802 Comm: hyperv_evmcs Not tainted 7.1.0-rc2 #7 PREEMPT Hardware name: QEMU Standard PC (Q35 + ICH9, 2009), BIOS 0.0.0 02/06/2015 Call Trace: <TASK> dump_stack_lvl+0x51/0x60 print_report+0xcb/0x5d0 kasan_report+0xb4/0xe0 kasan_check_range+0x35/0x1b0 hv_is_vp_in_sparse_set+0x85/0x100 [kvm] kvm_hv_flush_tlb+0xe9e/0x16c0 [kvm] kvm_hv_hypercall+0xe6b/0x1e60 [kvm] vmx_handle_exit+0x485/0x1b60 [kvm_intel] kvm_arch_vcpu_ioctl_run+0x22e3/0x5070 [kvm] kvm_vcpu_ioctl+0x5d0/0x10c0 [kvm] __x64_sys_ioctl+0x129/0x1a0 do_syscall_64+0xb9/0xcf0 entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe+0x4b/0x53 RIP: 0033:0x7f0e62d1a9bf </TASK> The buggy address belongs to the physical page: page: refcount:0 mapcount:0 mapping:0000000000000000 index:0xffffffffffffffff pfn:0x11ba5f flags: 0x4000000000000000(zone=1) raw: 4000000000000000 0000000000000000 00000000ffffffff 0000000000000000 raw: ffffffffffffffff 0000000000000000 00000000ffffffff 0000000000000000 page dumped because: kasan: bad access detected Memory state around the buggy address: ffff88811ba5f480: ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ffff88811ba5f500: ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff >ffff88811ba5f580: ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ^ ffff88811ba5f600: ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ffff88811ba5f680: ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ================================================================== Disabling lock debugging due to kernel taint Opportunistically add a compile time assertion to ensure the maximum number of sparse banks exactly matches the number of possible bits in the passed in mask. Keycloak-services: keycloak-services: vault-resolved rotated client secrets leaked via admin rest api

A flaw was found in the Keycloak Admin REST API, which is used to manage security realms and clients. The issue occurs when the system processes requests for rotated client secrets that are stored in a secure vault. Due to improper boundary enforcement, a delegated administrator with view-only permissions can retrieve the actual resolved secret instead of the vault placeholder, leading to the exposure of sensitive credentials.

Rate-limit Bypass in zenml-io/zenml

A vulnerability in zenml-io/zenml versions 0.57.0 through 0.94.2 allows an attacker to bypass rate-limiting on the `POST /api/v1/login` and self password-change endpoints by rotating the `X-Forwarded-For` header. The rate limiter keys requests by `request.client.host`, which is derived from the `X-Forwarded-For` header when Uvicorn is launched with `--proxy-headers --forwarded-allow-ips *`. This configuration allows clients to control the value of `request.client.host`, effectively bypassing rate-limiting protections. This vulnerability leaves the affected endpoints open to unthrottled credential guessing attacks.

Tycon Systems TPDIN-Monitor-WEB2 Authentication Bypass Using an Alternate Path or Channel

The web management interface of Tycon Systems TPDIN-Monitor-WEB2  does not perform server-side validation of credentials during the login process. By submitting empty values for both credential fields, an unauthenticated remote attacker can bypass the authentication check and establish a valid administrative session. This grants full access to device controls including power relay management, device reboot, remote access service configuration, and network settings, which could allow an attacker to disrupt connected infrastructure or cause physical damage to equipment.

nfsd: reset write verifier on deferred writeback errors

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: reset write verifier on deferred writeback errors nfsd_vfs_write() and nfsd_commit() both call filemap_check_wb_err() to detect deferred writeback errors, but neither rotates the server's write verifier (nn->writeverf) when this check fails. Every other durable-storage-failure path in these functions calls commit_reset_write_verifier() before returning an error. The missing rotation means clients holding UNSTABLE write data under the current verifier will COMMIT, receive the unchanged verifier back, and conclude their data is durable — silently dropping data that failed writeback. This violates the UNSTABLE+COMMIT durability contract (RFC 1813 §3.3.7, RFC 8881 §18.32). Add commit_reset_write_verifier() calls at both filemap_check_wb_err() error sites, matching the pattern used by adjacent error paths in the same functions. The helper already filters -EAGAIN and -ESTALE internally, so the calls are unconditionally safe.

Improper Validation of Certificate in CAS Client

Apereo CAS Client accepts any CA-trusted certificate for any hostname, provided the URL the client is calling matches the configured allowlist or regex. An attacker with a MITM position (DNS poisoning, rogue Wi-Fi, malicious proxy, etc.) can provide any CA-signed certificate for a hostname that matches the configured allowlist or regex. This can lead to intercepting the CAS exchange, capturing the Ticket-Granting Ticket (TGT), and subsequently obtaining Service Tickets on behalf of the victim.  Because maintainers contact attempts were unsuccessful, vulnerabilities have only been confirmed in version 4.1.0 (Java Apereo CAS Client) and 3.6.4 (Jasig CAS Client) but may also affect other versions.

WPify Woo <= 5.4.16 - Authenticated (Shop Manager+) Privilege Escalation via Arbitrary Option Update via save_option REST Endpoint

The Wpify Woo plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in versions up to, and including, 5.4.16. This is due to the SettingsApi::save_option() REST route (POST /wp-json/wpify-woo/v1/option) passing the request-supplied 'option' and 'data' parameters directly to update_option() without any option-name allowlist or value sanitization, while the permission_callback only verifies the manage_woocommerce capability. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Shop Manager-level access and above, to elevate their privileges to Administrator by overwriting arbitrary WordPress options (for example setting default_role to administrator and users_can_register to 1, or disabling security plugins via active_plugins).
