WP Delicious <= 1.10.2 - Authenticated (Contributor+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'steps' Block Attribute

The Delicious Recipes plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'steps' block attribute in versions up to, and including, 1.10.2. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in the wrap_direction_text() function, which interpolates the user-supplied href value from nested link nodes ($node['props']['href']) directly into an anchor tag via sprintf() at line 1627 without esc_url() or any URL scheme validation. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts (including javascript: URIs) in pages that will execute whenever a user (such as an editor or administrator previewing the pending post) accesses an injected page and clicks the malicious link.

ubuntu-pro-client Information Disclosure via Cleartext Bearer Token Exposure in Process Command Line

An information disclosure vulnerability exists in Canonical ubuntu-pro-client (formerly ubuntu-advantage-tools). The client validates Ubuntu Pro APT credentials by executing /usr/lib/apt/apt-helper using the download-file command. During this process, the secret bearer token is embedded directly in the cleartext URL component passed via the command-line arguments (argv), resulting in a URL format such as https://bearer:<token>@esm.ubuntu.com/.../. On systems utilizing a default-mounted /proc file system where process-hiding mitigations (such as hidepid) are disabled, an unprivileged local attacker can monitor system processes and read the sensitive bearer token directly from /proc/cmdline while the helper process is actively running. This leaked token can subsequently be used to gain unauthorized access to the victim's Ubuntu Pro or Expanded Security Maintenance (ESM) repositories.

Jupyter Enterprise Gateway: Jinja2 Template Server Side Template Injection results in Remote Code Execution

Jupyter Enterprise Gateway launches remote Jupyter Notebook kernels across distributed clusters like Apache Spark, Kubernetes, and Docker Swarm. In versions 2.0.0rc2 and above, prior to 3.3.0, the environment variables (KERNEL_XXX) used during the rendering of the Kubernetes manifest are vulnerable to Server Side Template Injection (SSTI). By including Jinja2 template expressions it is possible to execution Python code and OS Commands in the Enterprise Gateway service. The code can use or steal the Kubernetes service account token, which can steal Kubernetes secrets and be used to fully compromise the Kubernetes cluster by scheduling a privileged pod or a pod with a hostPath volume mount. This issue has been fixed in version 3.3.0.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv4: account for fraggap on the paged allocation path In __ip_append_data(), when the paged-allocation branch is taken, alloclen and pagedlen are computed as alloclen = fragheaderlen + transhdrlen; pagedlen = datalen - transhdrlen; datalen already includes fraggap, but the fraggap bytes carried over from the previous skb are copied into the new skb's linear area at offset transhdrlen by the subsequent skb_copy_and_csum_bits(). The linear area is therefore undersized by fraggap bytes while pagedlen is overstated by the same amount. The non-paged branch sets alloclen to fraglen, which already accounts for fraggap because datalen does. Bring the paged branch in line by adding fraggap to alloclen and subtracting it from pagedlen. After this adjustment, copy no longer collapses to -fraggap on the paged path, so remove the stale comment describing that old arithmetic.

HireFlow: Use of Hard-coded Credentials

HireFlow is a web-based interview management system for managing candidates, scheduling interviews, and tracking hiring progress. In 1.2 and earlier, app.py assigns a hard-coded Flask secret_key used to sign session cookies, allowing unauthenticated attackers who know the public source value to forge cookies containing role=admin and user_id values and bypass authentication. The advisory lists version 1.3 as fixed.
