SvelteKit before 2.52.2 Memory Exhaustion via Remote Form Deserialization

SvelteKit (@sveltejs/kit) versions >=2.49.0 and <=2.52.1 with experimental remote functions (experimental.remoteFunctions) and form enabled contain a memory exhaustion vulnerability in remote form deserialization. Malformed form data can cause excessive memory allocation, crashing the server process and resulting in denial of service. Fixed in 2.52.2.

Bifrost: SSRF deny-list incomplete: isPublicIP permits CGNAT, IPv6 6to4/NAT64, and site-local in FetchAndEncodeURL

Bifrost is an enterprise AI gateway for routing requests to model providers. Prior to 1.5.17, the isPublicIP function in core/providers/utils/fetch.go, reached through FetchAndEncodeURL for Bedrock and Vertex image or document URLs, classifies Carrier-Grade NAT 100.64.0.0/10, IPv6 6to4 2002::/16, NAT64 64:ff9b::/96 and 64:ff9b:1::/48, and deprecated IPv6 site-local fec0::/10 addresses as public. A remote attacker who controls a multimodal request URL can make the gateway fetch internal services, including a cloud instance metadata endpoint encoded through 6to4 or NAT64. This issue is fixed in version 1.5.17.

Pre-Authentication NULL Pointer Dereference in UPnP SOAP State Variable Query Processing in TP-Link TL-WR841N

A NULL pointer dereference vulnerability exists in TL-WR841N v14 in the UPnP service when processing SOAP state variable query requests. A specially crafted SOAP query may trigger unexpected termination or instability of the process hosting the UPnP service. Successful exploitation may result in a denial-of-service condition affecting UPnP discovery, state query, or related management functionality until the affected process is restarted or the device is rebooted.

batman-adv: dat: ensure accessible eth_hdr proto field

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: batman-adv: dat: ensure accessible eth_hdr proto field When batadv_get_vid() accesses the proto field of the ethernet header, it is not checking if the data itself is accessible. The caller is responsible for it. But in contrast to other call sites, batadv_dat_get_vid() and its caller didn't make sure this is true. This could have caused an out-of-bounds access.

ALSA: seq: oss: Serialize readq reset state with q->lock

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: seq: oss: Serialize readq reset state with q->lock snd_seq_oss_readq_clear() resets qlen, head, and tail without q->lock even though the normal reader and producer paths serialize the same ring state under that spinlock. A reset can therefore race snd_seq_oss_readq_free() or snd_seq_oss_readq_put_event() and leave stale records in the queue, drop freshly queued ones, or report the wrong readiness after wakeup. KCSAN reports a data race between snd_seq_oss_readq_clear() and snd_seq_oss_readq_free(). Take q->lock while clearing the ring and resetting input_time. Factor the enqueue logic into a caller-locked helper so snd_seq_oss_readq_put_timestamp() updates its suppression state under the same lock instead of racing the reset path. The buggy scenario involves two paths, with each column showing the order within that path: reset path: locked readq updater: 1. snd_seq_oss_reset() or 1. A reader or callback producer release reaches takes q->lock on the same queue. snd_seq_oss_readq_clear(). 2. snd_seq_oss_readq_clear() 2. The updater tests or modifies resets qlen, head, tail, qlen, head, and tail. and input_time. 3. snd_seq_oss_readq_clear() 3. The updater completes its wakes sleepers on read-modify-write sequence. q->midi_sleep. 4. Without q->lock, the reset 4. The resulting ring state drives can overlap the locked later reads and readiness. update. Hermes Agent 0.16.0 < 0.17.0 Credential Store Overwrite via File-Write Tool

Hermes Agent 0.16.0 prior to 0.17.0 contains an improper path restriction vulnerability that allows attackers who can influence ingested message content to overwrite the credential store by bypassing sensitive-path guards that excluded the auth.json file. Attackers can craft malicious messages directing the agent's file-write tooling to overwrite the credential store without triggering any path-based protection, enabling credential tampering or unauthorized access.

An attacker that can get Dovecot to relay a message, …

An attacker that can get Dovecot to relay a message, for example through Sieve redirect or submission relay, can use a crafted line ending in the message body to bypass the outbound protection that prevents message content from being interpreted as SMTP commands. A downstream mail server that hasn't yet fixed the SMTP smuggling vulnerability can be tricked into treating part of the message body as new SMTP commands, allowing injection of spoofed email. This is the same vulnerability class as CVE-2023-51764 and CVE-2023-51766. Where you control the receiving mail servers, ensure they reject bare carriage returns in message data. Update to non-vulnerable version. No publicly available exploits are known.
