Wekan: Broken access control in the Excel-export route (`/api/boards/:boardId/exportExcel`)

Wekan is open source kanban built with Meteor. From 9.57 until 9.74, the /api/boards/:boardId/exportExcel route in models/exportExcel.js called the asynchronous exporterExcel.canExport(user) authorization guard from models/server/ExporterExcel.js without awaiting it. The returned Promise was always truthy, so exporterExcel.build(res) ran even when board.isVisibleBy(user) would deny access, allowing any authenticated non-member to download private board card titles, descriptions, lists, swimlanes, members, and metadata. This issue is fixed in version 9.74.

Ground Station: Unauthenticated out-of-containment file read via `sigmfplayback` `recordingPath`

Ground Station is a browser-based suite for satellite tracking, SDR reception, hardware control, and telemetry decoding. Prior to version 0.4.13, the unauthenticated configure-sdr Socket.IO command accepts a recordingPath for the sigmf-playback SDR and backend/handlers/entities/sdr.py stores it without validation before backend/hardware/sigmfprobe.py opens the path without enforcing containment. An absolute path or parent-directory escape ending in .sigmf-meta is parsed as JSON and returned in reply["data"]["metadata"] by the get-sdr-parameters flow. Exploitation requires the metadata file to be readable JSON and to have a sibling .sigmf-data file, but it can disclose contents outside backend/data/recordings without authentication. This issue is fixed in version 0.4.13.

Structured Query Language (SQL) Injection through the REST API in Splunk Enterprise

In Splunk Enterprise versions below 10.4.2, 10.2.6, 10.0.9, and 9.4.14, a user who does not hold the "admin" or "power" Splunk roles could execute attacker-chosen Structured Query Language (SQL) queries through the Data Orchestration jobs endpoint, allowing for access to substantially all data stored by Data Orchestration, including jobs owned by other users and stored connection credentials. The vulnerability is possible because Data Orchestration builds a database query from user-controlled job filter values without using parameterized queries. Search-v2-operator: search-v2-operator: operator clusterrole is cluster-admin equivalent via impersonate, rbac write, csr approve, and manifestwork

A flaw was found in search-v2-operator. The operator's ClusterRole has permissions equivalent to a cluster administrator, allowing it to impersonate other entities, write Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) configurations, approve Certificate Signing Requests (CSRs), and manage ManifestWork. This grants excessive privileges beyond what is necessary for the operator's intended function, potentially leading to privilege escalation within the cluster.

Information Disclosure through Missing Authorization in the Health REST API in Splunk SOAR

In Splunk SOAR versions below 8.6.0, an authenticated user with no role assigned could use the /rest/health endpoint to gather system and cluster telemetry that should be restricted to administrative or support users. Wazuh: cluster peer can read arbitrary master files and forge offline REST API administrator tokens via DAPI tmp_file path injection in Wazuh manager

Wazuh is a free and open source platform used for threat prevention, detection, and response. From 4.0.0 until 4.14.6 and 5.0.0-beta3, DistributedAPI.send_tmp_file() in framework/wazuh/core/cluster/dapi/dapi.py joins an attacker-controlled tmp_file value to WAZUH_PATH without canonicalization or confinement. A cluster peer holding the shared Fernet key can use traversal or an absolute path to make the master return any readable file over the cluster channel. Reading /var/ossec/api/configuration/security/private_key.pem allows the peer to forge administrator REST API tokens offline and then exercise administrative privileges without creating an account. This issue is fixed in versions 4.14.6 and 5.0.0-beta3.
