The NextScripts: Social Networks Auto-Poster WordPress plugin before 4.4.8 does not escape some of the query-string parameters it reflects back on one of its admin pages, allowing attackers to perform Reflected Cross-Site Scripting attacks against logged-in users such as administrators who are tricked into opening a crafted link.

Incorrect Permission Assignment through Safe Mode in Nmap Scanner for Splunk SOAR

In Nmap Scanner versions below 3.0.15, a user who holds a role that can edit, create, or run playbooks in Splunk SOAR could run the scan network action in a Safe Mode playbook while that action is listed as read-only, which could allow for command execution or other changes on a target system through Nmap Scripting Engine scripts. The vulnerability is possible because the Nmap Scanner connector action manifest classifies the scan network action as read-only even though the action accepts script parameters that can perform write operations. Missing Authorization through REST API Endpoints in the Splunk App for Splunk Observability Cloud

In Splunk Enterprise versions below 10.4.2, 10.2.6, and 10.0.9, a user who does not hold the "admin" or "power" Splunk roles could cause the Splunk App for Splunk Observability Cloud to forward requests to Splunk Observability Cloud, including the Splunk Observability Cloud access token stored for the app. With this access, the user could view all relevant data available to that token and make limited changes to Splunk Observability Cloud content. The vulnerability does not affect Splunk Enterprise 9.4 and 9.3 versions. The vulnerability is possible because the app's Representational State Transfer (REST) API endpoint handlers do not enforce the read_o11y_content capability before forwarding requests with the stored access token. phpMyFAQ before 4.1.7 Authentication Bypass via Setup API

phpMyFAQ before 4.1.7 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability in SetupController that allows unauthenticated attackers to run database migrations and create configuration backups when maintenance mode is enabled. Attackers can call POST /api/setup/update-database and POST /api/setup/backup endpoints to execute database updates, disable maintenance mode, and extract database credentials from generated ZIP archives.

phpMyFAQ before 4.1.7 Information Disclosure via PDF Export

phpMyFAQ versions before 4.1.7 fail to validate active status in the PDF export endpoint, allowing unauthenticated attackers to retrieve draft FAQ metadata. Attackers can access the public PDF export route with sequential FAQ identifiers to obtain titles, solution IDs, author names, and last-update timestamps of inactive or unpublished FAQs.

Simple File List <= 6.3.11 - Unauthenticated Stored XSS via File Description

The Simple File List WordPress plugin through 6.3.11 does not properly sanitise and escape a file's description before outputting it on the public file list, allowing unauthenticated users (when front-end file management is enabled) to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks that execute in the browser of any visitor viewing the list.

Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) in Splunk Web Tours in Splunk Enterprise

In Splunk Enterprise versions below 10.4.2, 10.2.6, 10.0.9, and 9.4.14, a user who holds the "power" Splunk role could create a malicious Splunk Web tour and cause arbitrary JavaScript to run in the browser of another user when that user opens a crafted tour link. The JavaScript runs in the browser of the affected user, allowing for access to all relevant data available to that user. The Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability is possible because Splunk Web renders tour content and tour navigation links without sufficient output encoding and accepts a tour selector value that can be treated as markup. The vulnerability requires another user to open a crafted tour link. The user who holds the "power" Splunk role should not be able to trigger JavaScript execution in another user's browser without that user interaction.

phpMyFAQ before 4.1.7 2FA Bypass via Remember-Me Cookie

phpMyFAQ before 4.1.7 contains a two-factor authentication bypass vulnerability where remember-me tokens are issued before 2FA verification completes. Attackers with valid credentials can obtain a remember-me cookie, skip the 2FA challenge, and replay the cookie to gain full authenticated access without second-factor verification.
