Notepad++: session.xml backupFilePath starts_with Bypass

Notepad++ is a free and open-source source code editor. Prior to 8.9.7, Notepad++ validates the backupFilePath attribute from session.xml with std::wstring::starts_with against the expected backup directory without path normalization, allowing parent-directory sequences during snapshot-mode restoration to read an arbitrary user-readable file outside the backup directory into an editor tab. This issue is fixed in version 8.9.7.

JimuReport Unauthenticated Report Listing and Share Token Disclosure

JimuReport contains an authentication bypass vulnerability in the report folder template listing endpoint that allows unauthenticated attackers to enumerate all reports and retrieve share tokens. openssl_encrypt before 1.4.0 Insecure Random Import in PQC Module

openssl_encrypt before 1.4.0 imports Python's non-cryptographic 'random' module (Mersenne Twister PRNG) at line 15 of openssl_encrypt/modules/pqc.py. No direct calls to random.* were present in the code, so no cryptographic operation is currently affected; however, the import creates a hazard that future code could inadvertently use random.randint() instead of a cryptographically secure alternative (secrets/os.urandom), producing predictable values since the Mersenne Twister state can be recovered from approximately 624 outputs. Fixed by removing the import in 1.4.0.

WooMS <= 9.14 - Unauthenticated Server-Side Request Forgery and Sensitive Information Disclosure

The WooMS WordPress plugin through 9.14 does not validate a user-supplied URL before using it in a server-side request and attaches stored third-party integration credentials to every such request, allowing unauthenticated attackers to perform Server-Side Request Forgery and to disclose the configured integration credentials when the relevant data-sync feature is enabled.

The Everest Forms – Contact Form, Payment Form, Quiz, Survey & Custom Form Builder with AI plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 3.5.2. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with delegated form management access and above, to activate arbitrary already-installed WordPress plugins — including previously deactivated or vulnerable plugins — without holding the core activate_plugins capability. Exploitation requires the target user to hold a delegated Everest Forms capability (manage_everest_forms, everest_forms_create_forms, or everest_forms_view_forms), which the plugin's own roles and permissions tool allows administrators to assign to non-administrator roles such as Author; the nonces required to exploit the AJAX handlers are emitted on EVF admin pages accessible to any such delegated user.
