HDF5: H5T__conv_struct Use After Free

HDF5 is software for managing data. In 1.14.1-2 and earlier, a heap-use-after-free was found in the h5dump helper utility. An attacker who can supply a malicious h5 file can trigger a heap use-after-free. The freed object is referenced in a memmove call from H5T__conv_struct. The original object was allocated by H5D__typeinfo_init_phase3 and freed by H5D__typeinfo_term.

URI nameConstraints not enforced in ConfirmNameConstraints()

URI nameConstraints from constrained intermediate CAs are parsed but not enforced during certificate chain verification in wolfcrypt/src/asn.c. A compromised or malicious sub-CA could issue leaf certificates with URI SAN entries that violate the nameConstraints of the issuing CA, and wolfSSL would accept them as valid.

Unbounded Request Body Read in MS Teams Plugin {{/lifecycle}} Webhook Endpoint

Mattermost Plugins versions <=2.3.1 fail to limit the request body size on the {{/lifecycle}} webhook endpoint which allows an authenticated attacker to cause memory exhaustion and denial of service via sending an oversized JSON payload. Mattermost Advisory ID: MMSA-2026-00610

OpenClaw < 2026.3.25 - Privilege Escalation via Silent Local Shared-Auth Reconnect

OpenClaw before 2026.3.25 contains a privilege escalation vulnerability where silent local shared-auth reconnects auto-approve scope-upgrade requests, widening paired device permissions from operator.read to operator.admin. Attackers can exploit this by triggering local reconnection to silently escalate privileges and achieve remote code execution on the node.

Libcap: libcap: privilege escalation via toctou race condition in cap_set_file()

A flaw was found in libcap. A local unprivileged user can exploit a Time-of-check-to-time-of-use (TOCTOU) race condition in the `cap_set_file()` function. This allows an attacker with write access to a parent directory to redirect file capability updates to an attacker-controlled file. By doing so, capabilities can be injected into or stripped from unintended executables, leading to privilege escalation.

pyLoad WebUI JSON permission mismatch lets ADD/DELETE users invoke MODIFY-only actions

pyLoad is a free and open-source download manager written in Python. Prior to 0.5.0b3.dev97, the /json/package_order, /json/link_order, and /json/abort_link WebUI JSON endpoints enforce weaker permissions than the core API methods they invoke. This allows authenticated low-privileged users to execute MODIFY operations that should be denied by pyLoad's own permission model. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.5.0b3.dev97.

OpenClaw < 2026.2.22 - Symlink Traversal via IDENTITY.md appendFile in agents.create/update

OpenClaw through 2026.2.22 contains a symlink traversal vulnerability in agents.create and agents.update handlers that use fs.appendFile on IDENTITY.md without symlink containment checks. Attackers with workspace access can plant symlinks to append attacker-controlled content to arbitrary files, enabling remote code execution via crontab injection or unauthorized access via SSH key manipulation.

Importing a crafted backup leads to project restriction bypass

In Canonical LXD before 6.8, the backup import path validates project restrictions against backup/index.yaml in the supplied tar archive but creates the instance from backup/container/backup.yaml, a separate file in the same archive that is never checked against project restrictions. An authenticated remote attacker with instance-creation permission in a restricted project can craft a backup archive where backup.yaml carries restricted settings such as security.privileged=true or raw.lxc directives, bypassing all project restriction enforcement and allowing full host compromise.
