Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. Prior to 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12, TwilioRequestParser::doParse() received the configured webhook secret but ignored the X-Twilio-Signature HMAC header, allowing unauthenticated POST requests to inject forged Twilio status payloads. Twig: Unbounded formatter memoisation in twig/intl-extra keyed on template-controlled arguments

Twig is a template language for PHP. Prior to 3.26.0, twig/intl-extra memoises IntlDateFormatter and NumberFormatter instances in arrays keyed by template-controlled filter arguments such as locale, pattern, and attrs, allowing a template to allocate many ICU formatter objects that remain pinned for the lifetime of the Twig\Environment. This issue is fixed in version 3.26.0.

Unterminated URI buffer causes out-of-bounds read in LwM2M firmware pull (Package URI)

subsys/net/lib/lwm2m/lwm2m_pull_context.c copied the firmware-update Package URI into a fixed static buffer (context.uri, size CONFIG_LWM2M_SWMGMT_PACKAGE_URI_LEN, default 128) with memcpy(context.uri, uri, LWM2M_PACKAGE_URI_LEN), copying exactly the destination size with no length validation. The Firmware-Update object stores the server-supplied Package URI (/5/0/1) in a 255-byte buffer, so a LwM2M management server (or an on-path attacker on a session lacking strong DTLS) can WRITE a URI of 128-254 characters; only the first 128 bytes are then copied into context.uri with no NUL terminator. That buffer is subsequently consumed as a C string by http_parser_parse_url(context.uri, strlen(context.uri), ...), strlen-based CoAP URI-path/PROXY-URI option appends, and lwm2m_parse_peerinfo(), causing an out-of-bounds read of adjacent static memory. The over-read bytes are appended to outbound CoAP requests (information disclosure of adjacent device memory to the server/proxy) and can crash the device (denial of service). The vulnerable copy was introduced by the pull-context refactor (first released in v3.0.0) and is present through v4.4.0; the default-on CONFIG_LWM2M_FIRMWARE_UPDATE_PULL_SUPPORT path is affected. The fix adds a strlen(uri) >= sizeof(context.uri) check returning -ENOMEM and switches to strcpy(), guaranteeing a bounded, NUL-terminated buffer.

Zero-length HTTP/2 CONTINUATION frames bypass Mint's header-block byte-size cap and exhaust client memory

Allocation of resources without limits vulnerability in elixir-mint mint allows a remote HTTP/2 server to exhaust memory on the client host and cause a denial of service. The Mint.HTTP2.handle_continuation/3 function in lib/mint/http2.ex accumulates the header-block fragment carried by each HTTP/2 CONTINUATION frame into a growing conn.headers_being_processed nesting, one level deeper per frame, and only releases it when a frame with the END_HEADERS flag arrives. The only guard on this accumulator is Mint.HTTP2.assert_header_block_within_max_size/2, which sums the byte size of the fragments received so far. Because a CONTINUATION frame is permitted by the protocol to carry a zero-length payload, an unbounded chain of zero-length CONTINUATION frames adds no bytes to the running total, never trips the size cap, and never emits END_HEADERS, yet each frame still nests the accumulator one level deeper. A malicious HTTP/2 server (reachable directly, via an attacker-controlled redirect, via SSRF, or via a man-in-the-middle) can open a stream by sending a HEADERS frame without END_HEADERS and then stream zero-length CONTINUATION frames indefinitely. Client memory grows one cons cell per frame received; sustained bandwidth from the peer drives the BEAM node running the Mint client to memory exhaustion and eventual out-of-memory termination. This issue affects mint: from 0.1.0 before 1.9.2.

Unbounded HTTP/1 response-header and chunked-trailer accumulation in Mint causes memory-exhaustion DoS

Allocation of resources without limits vulnerability in elixir-mint mint allows a remote HTTP server to exhaust memory on the client host and cause a denial of service. The Mint.HTTP1.decode_headers/5 and Mint.HTTP1.decode_trailer_headers/4 functions in lib/mint/http1.ex accumulate every parsed response header and chunked-trailer field into a per-request list that persists across incoming TCP segments as request.headers_buffer, and only clear it when the terminating blank line is received. The section has no cap on the number of headers or on total bytes, and the underlying :erlang.decode_packet(:httph_bin, binary, []) parser is invoked with an empty option list so its per-line and per-packet size limits also default to unlimited. A malicious HTTP server (reachable directly, via an attacker-controlled redirect, via SSRF, or via a man-in-the-middle) can stream complete header lines (or, after a chunked body, complete trailer lines) indefinitely without ever emitting the terminating blank line. The connection state grows without bound until the BEAM node is killed by the operating system's out-of-memory handler, taking down the entire application that uses Mint as an HTTP client. This issue affects mint: from 0.1.0 before 1.9.2.

Vitest: Exposed Browser Mode API Can Proxy CDP and Overwrite Config Files, Leading to RCE

Vitest is a testing framework powered by Vite. From 3.0.0 until 3.2.5, 4.1.8, and 5.0.0-beta.4, Vitest Browser Mode exposed a cdp() API that forwarded raw Chrome DevTools Protocol methods without being gated by allowWrite or allowExec, allowing a remote client with exposed browser API metadata to use CDP Page.setDownloadBehavior and Runtime.evaluate to overwrite vite.config.ts and execute attacker-controlled Node.js code. This issue is fixed in versions 3.2.5, 4.1.8, and 5.0.0-beta.

Symfony: HtmlSanitizer allowLinkHosts() / allowMediaHosts() Bypass via URL-Parser Differentials and <area> Misclassification

Symfony is a PHP framework for web and console applications and a set of reusable PHP components. From 6.1.0-BETA1 until 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12, HtmlSanitizer URL sanitization can allow off-allowlist URLs through allowLinkHosts() or allowMediaHosts() because UrlSanitizer::parse() follows RFC 3986 while browsers follow WHATWG URL parsing, and because <area href> is checked against the media policy rather than the link policy. This issue is fixed in versions 6.4.40, 7.4.12, and 8.0.12.
