n8n: "Allowed HTTP Request Domains" Restriction Bypass via AI Agents MCP Connector

n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to 2.27.4 and 2.28.1, the AI Agents feature did not enforce the Allowed HTTP Request Domains restriction configured on credentials when an MCP tool was pointed at an arbitrary URL, allowing a member-level user with use-only access to a shared credential to send its secret to an external server they control. This issue is fixed in versions 2.27.4 and 2.28.1.

HTML injection in Diagram tab and Graph view in Guardian/CMC before 26.2.0

A Stored HTML Injection vulnerability was discovered in the Diagram tab and Graph view due to a shared input validation function being insufficiently restrictive. An authenticated user with administrative privileges can inject malicious HTML tags into N2OS configuration data through multiple input vectors. When a victim views the affected data in the Diagram tab and Graph view, the injected HTML renders in their browser, enabling phishing and possibly open redirect attacks. Full XSS exploitation and direct information disclosure are prevented by the existing input validation and Content Security Policy configuration.

SiYuan: Authenticated path traversal in /snippets/ static handler (serveSnippets) leaks conf/conf.json secrets and siyuan.db

SiYuan is an open-source personal knowledge management system. Prior to 3.7.1, the /snippets/*filepath route handler serveSnippets in kernel/server/serve.go joins a single-decoded request path with the snippets directory without subpath containment or sensitive-path checks, allowing an authenticated request such as /snippets/%2e%2e/%2e%2e/conf/conf.json to read workspace secrets and the document database. Open WebUI: POST /api/v1/images/edit bypasses the global image-edit switch and the per-user image-generation permission

Open WebUI is an extensible, feature-rich, and user-friendly self-hosted AI platform. From 0.8.11 before 0.10.0, POST /api/v1/images/edit required only a verified account and did not enforce the global image-edit switch or the per-user image-generation permission, allowing a non-admin user to invoke server-side image editing with administrator-configured provider credentials. Open WebUI is an extensible, feature-rich, and user-friendly self-hosted AI platform.
